Empowering little voices through play, movement, and connection in pediatric speech therapy.

A neuro-affirming pediatric speech therapy practice focused on supporting speech and language development through the transformative power of play, movement, and connection.  At Play Power Speech Therapy LLC, we move beyond "compliance" to find the joy in communication.

The Power of Connection & Play in Pediatric Speech Therapy

You want to know what your child is thinking, feeling, and dreaming.

But right now, communication feels like a hurdle. Maybe you’re navigating a new diagnosis, wondering why your child isn’t "talking" yet, or searching for a therapist who truly gets your child’s unique way of learning.

Imagine a world where your child feels seen, regulated, and empowered to express themselves—whether through words, signs, pictures, a communication device or play. Through a neuro-affirming, sensory-informed approach, I will help bridge the gap between you and your child, turning frustration into connection.

Meet Hannah Motschke, Founder & Therapist

"I believe every child has a voice—we just have to find the right way to listen."

With 13 years of experience across school and clinic settings, I’ve learned that the best learning happens when a child is motivated and engaged. My approach is:

  • Play-Based: follow your child’s lead.

  • Sensory-informed: find your child’s optimal arousal level for learning.

  • Neuro-Affirming: celebrate differences rather than trying to "fix" them.

I hold a Master’s degree and my Certificate of Clinic Competence through the American Hearing Speech Association, but I never stop learning. My background includes specialized training in:

  • AAC (augmentative and alternative communication) including LAMP: Language Acquisition through Motor Planning.

  • Gestalt Language Processors: Supported by natural language acquisition

  • Sensory & Feeding: Certifications in SOS (Sequential Oral Sensory) and Speech Language Pathologist Sensory training.

  • Autism Support: Continuing education through Autism Navigator and PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System).

When I’m not playing on the floor with my clients, I’m usually outside with my two children. You can find me hiking, biking, camping, or paddle boarding in the summer, and hitting the trails on my skis in the winter.

I founded Play Power Speech Therapy to offer the Sartell and St. Cloud surrounding communities a different kind of support. My goal is to provide neuro-affirming resources that honor how your child’s brain is wired. I don’t just want your child to "meet goals";  I want them to feel confident, regulated, and heard.
